Legislative Outreach

As you likely know the State of Minnesota is making budget cuts and our very important County AIS programs are at risk of a 50% budget cuts. This would mean we would no longer be able to count on Itasca Soil and Water to have a full complement of Inspectors at our landiing and they could no longer help us work to treat our Curly Leaf Pondweed.  We would love it if you would join us in a letter writing campaign to reach out to our governor and legislators and request that they do not cut the funding to this program.
